New Coach Nenad Bacina Leads Rams to Victory

Woodlands Wellington Football Club played their first preseason game against Balestier Khalsa Football Club at the Toa Payoh Stadium.

New Coach Nenad Bacina unveiled several of his new signings from the start and soon Daniel Hammond, previously from the Young Lions, opened the scoring after cutting in on the right and curling the into the top right corner with his outside foot. Terrific effort!

With Rezal Hassan holding the fort, it was no surprise to see an organised defence dealing with the danger Balestier posed. However, when they did threaten, Rezal Hassan was superb in dealing with the danger. Critics have questioned the signing of the aging Hassan, but with this performance, there is no doubt he will prove his critics wrong.

In all the team played well considering this is the rare occasion the team manage to play together as a team.
